Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Relevant AI (the "Service"), operated by Relevant Law ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Relevant AI provides AI-powered legal research tools that help users explore legal questions, research case law, and understand legal concepts. The Service may also facilitate connections between users and licensed attorneys through our attorney network.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• One person or entity may maintain only one account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Reproduce, duplicate, or sell any part of the Service without authorization

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Relevant Law and protected by intellectual property laws. "Relevant AI" and the R logo are trademarks of Relevant Law.

You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service, but grant us a license to use, store, and process that content to provide and improve the Service.

Attorney Services & Legal Disclaimer

Relevant Law is a technology company and does not provide legal services. At no time does Relevant Law practice law, provide legal advice, or form attorney-client relationships with users.

Any legal services available through the Relevant AI platform are provided exclusively by independently owned and operated law firms ("Network Firms") that participate in the Relevant network. Network Firms are separate and independent legal entities from Relevant Law.

When you connect with an attorney through Relevant AI:

• Any attorney-client relationship exists solely between you and the Network Firm or individual attorney—not Relevant Law
• Network Firms are independently owned and operated law firms licensed in their respective jurisdictions
• All attorneys in the Relevant network maintain their own professional liability (malpractice) insurance—Relevant Law does not provide coverage
• Relevant Law is not responsible for the legal services provided by any Network Firm
• Fee arrangements and billing are between you and the Network Firm
• Neither Relevant Law nor any Network Firm guarantees the outcome of any legal matter
• Not all practice areas will have attorneys available—we do not guarantee coverage for all legal needs

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relevant Law disclaims all liability arising from or related to legal services provided by Network Firms.

Scope of Attorney Services - Transactional Only

IMPORTANT: Relevant AI IS A TRANSACTIONAL LEGAL PLATFORM ONLY. The attorney services available through our platform are strictly limited to transactional, advisory, and document-related legal work. This platform is NOT intended for ongoing traditional legal representation or general counsel services.

Services Provided

Attorneys in the Relevant network provide the following types of transactional services:

• Answering specific legal questions about transactions
• Reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Drafting legal documents (wills, contracts, agreements, policies)
• Estate planning and administration guidance
• Business formation and corporate governance advice
• Real estate transaction guidance
• General transactional legal information and guidance

Services NOT Provided

The following services are expressly EXCLUDED from the Relevant platform. Attorneys in our network will not provide these services through Relevant AI:

• Litigation - No court appearances, trial preparation, or representation in legal proceedings
• Dispute Resolution - No mediation, arbitration, or negotiation services
• Court Filings - No preparation or filing of motions, pleadings, subpoenas, or court documents
• Contested Proceedings - No contested divorce, custody disputes, or probate litigation
• Adversarial Matters - No representation in any matter with an opposing party
• Criminal Defense - No criminal law matters whatsoever
• Personal Injury - No personal injury or tort claims
• Ongoing Counsel - No general counsel or ongoing legal representation relationships

If you require assistance with court documents you have received (such as subpoenas, motions, orders, or summons), contested legal proceedings, or ongoing legal representation, you must seek assistance from a local attorney outside of this platform.

Each attorney consultation through Relevant AI is a discrete engagement focused on answering your specific transactional question or completing a specific document task. By using Attorney Connect, you acknowledge and agree to these scope limitations.

Fees and Billing

Platform Subscription Fees

Monthly subscription fees paid to Relevant AI are platform fees for access to our technology services, including AI-powered legal research tools, document automation, and the ability to connect with attorneys in our network. Platform fees are separate from any fees charged by Network Firms for legal services.

Attorney Connect Fees

When you connect with an attorney through Attorney Connect:

• Attorney consultations are billed at published rates ($60/10 min, $360/hr) across all plans
• A 1-hour session authorization is placed on your card on file before connecting
• You are charged only for time actually used, billed in 10-minute increments
• A one-time $20 connection fee applies per new attorney-client relationship (covers client intake and communication platform)
• Relevant Law handles all payment processing; attorneys receive payment through our platform

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Legal information provided through the Service should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relevant Law shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to any legal services provided by independently owned and operated law firms in the Relevant network. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Relevant Law, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms, including any claims arising from legal services provided by independently owned and operated law firms in the Relevant network.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
